We opened our first location in Concord, NH in August of 1987, some of you may remember it as SpeeDee Oil Change & Tune Up.  We then opened our Laconia location in June of 1989 under the same name.  We operated those two locations until June of 1997 when we dropped the franchise name and continued operation under the trade name of Mike's Quicklube & Quality Car Care.

We expanded both locations, adding two extra bays on the Concord facility, and building a new four bay building behind the quicklube building in Laconia over those years.  These additions allowed us to offer more services than we were offering under the restrictions of the franchise agreement.

 In February of 2001 we were approached by Valvoline Instant Oil Change.  They wanted to buy our quicklube operations in Concord and Laconia.  We ended up making a deal to sell them the entire Concord operation, and the quicklube in Laconia, but we retained the full service repair facility located on the same lot in Laconia, but behind the quicklube building.

 There has been some confusion since that sale, because we used to operate both buildings, many people think we are still associated.  Since the sale in 2001, we have no connection with the Valvoline quicklube business operating in the front building in Laconia, nor do we have any connection to the Concord facility.
